Plus, with the option to use tender cuts like  sirloin or fillet, you can tailor this recipe to suit your preferences.

  1. Start by heating a large skillet over medium heat and melting a generous amount of butter.

  2. Slice the onion, mushrooms and press the garlic cloves. Add salt and pepper to taste and cook until soft

  3. In the meatiness, slice the beef into 1-2 cm strips and season with salt and pepper to taste. Then coat with flour

  4. Once done, remove the mushrooms in a separate bowl and leave to rest

  5. Add extra butter in the pan and toss in the coated beef strips. Allow them to cook until brown, juicy and tender.

  6. Add the mushrooms, onion and garlic back to the pan. Continue to sauté until they are golden and fragrant, mingling with the savory flavors of the beef.

  7. Peel and boil the potatoes to make the potato mash in a pot.

  8. This is where the magic happens! Add the beef stock (pour slowly, 30-40 ml at a time and gently stir). swirl in a generous dollop of sour cream, stirring until it melds seamlessly with the beef and mushrooms, creating a luxuriously smooth sauce.

  9. Lower the temperature and stir the delicious creamy mixture.

  10. For the side - drain the boiled potatoes, mash them and add butter, milk and salt. The butter and milk will make the potato mash soft and puffy.

  11. Garnish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley and serve with the mash potatoes. Sit back, relax and enjoy this ultimate creamy cosy comfort meal!
