- boil the water and add the chicken cube stock to a high temperature
- chop the onion, carrots and broccoli and boil (lower the temperature to medium)
- add salt and pepper to taste
- add the chopped chicken breast and simmer for about 25 minutes
- add the rice and simmer for another 30 minutes
